B. Mark Vance, MD FAAFP BCIM FAAO
Dr Vance is a board certified Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has over 15 years of experience in "conventional medicine" including clinic, emergency room, inpatient hospital and administrative work. In addition, he has received extensive training in alternative medicine as well as serving as the Medical Director of the West Clinic in Pocatello, ID.
This unique training has equipped him with the skills to provide effective treatments for many conditions that typically have poor outcomes with standard MD medical treatment.
His extensive work with alternative providers makes him the ideal liaison between the "regular" medical system and alternative medicine providers.

As you might be able to guess, LaNita is Dr. Vance's lovely wife. He always said he "married up," and hopefully in reading this you will figure out why.
After graduating Kuna High School with Honors, LaNita went to Ricks College where she was on the Dean's List.
Her college education was cut short after getting married and for about 3 years she worked to support her husband's schooling, before becoming a full-time-stay-at-home mother of 5. This was her honorable, chosen profession for approximately 27 years.
She has home schooled every one of her children, and has enjoyed many endeavors over the years including painting, gardening, canning and homesteading to name a few.
She enjoys public speaking and has given lectures on such topics as camping, emergency cooking, water purification, and getting out of debt.
In addition to having extensive office experience (she has worked in 3 law offices and the St. Louis University Hospital), she has had training in both IV's and phlebotomy.
LaNita is truly the heart behind the clinic and the "go-to" person who actually gets pretty much everything there done. Her work and assistance at the clinic is invaluable.
After she had moved more than 30 times while growing up, Sara was brought to the Boise area in 2007 and has since learned to call it home. Most of her childhood was spent in the Pacific Northwest: primarily western Washington, and a very small town in the northwestern corner of Montana (that was often referred to as “home base” in between a lot of moves). She’s always considered her upbringing to be a strong factor in making her so adaptable to new situations and open to meeting all varieties of people.
Sara’s natural affinity for organization and attention to detail makes her an asset to the office, especially when it comes to keeping everyone on schedule and running smoothly. She also has a strong learning ability and personal drive, which keeps her motivated to continue learning anything she can about health and wellness.
Apart from the work she does at Vance Medical, she is also currently pursuing a certification as a Yoga instructor, and likes to learn as much as she can about nutrition and holistic health through various readings and documentaries. In whatever spare time she has, Sara attends as many concerts as she can - specifically of the rock variety. A strong believer that health includes emotional and mental well-being, Sara calls these shows her “therapy.”
April was dubbed “The Sunshine Girl” when she was a wee lass, and that nickname still easily applies today. Her vibrant and cheerful personality makes her a fast favorite for most of the patients here at Vance Medical, and her passion for health and for helping others is evident in her work as an office assistant.
After growing up in southeastern Idaho, April attended BYU in Provo, Utah in order to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management with an emphasis in Youth Leadership. She and her husband then stayed for some time in St. Louis, Missouri while he attended school, and eventually brought their young family to the Boise area.
In her home life, April is a loving mother of three who enjoys spending time with her family, finds personal joy through her local book club, and engages in a daily scripture study.
But as soon as April started working at Vance Medical in September of 2017, it was obvious that she was a perfect fit. Her natural sweetness has patients requesting for her assistance by name, and her love of learning has her scouring over manuals and training videos in order to provide the most thorough and individualized best care for each patient.
